Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a writer and brand marketer.

My writing has been published in TulipTree Press, Glasstire, and R2. I just finished my first novel. It’s kind of like The Grand Budapest Hotel, but in Marfa.

I was the first Brand Director at Care/of. My team led high level brand vision and storytelling, messaging insights, social, PR, content, partnerships, and product marketing. I developed the brand voice and managed copywriting across web, mobile apps, advertising, email, packaging, and more, from early launch to acquisition.

As Head of Marketing Strategy at FLOWERBX, I launched an evergreen gifting strategy, including the new Super Bouquet offering, which became our highest margin bestseller within month 1 and has been featured in Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar. I also launched a WhatsApp VIP program that became our leading retention revenue driver.

I developed the content for the Grow at THC NYC, New York’s first live urban cannabis grow. 

I help brands establish their positioning and core stories, find their voice, understand their audience, and create effective go-to-market plans. I work on brand launches, campaign development, strategy audits and updates, and assets like brand principles, calendars, and copywriting guides. I also write copy. My favorite projects allow me to combine my creativity with strategic thinking, as well as my deep grounding in consumer mindset.
